Jim has been working with wood since childhood. He started by selling gun cabinets and step stools on consignment at his local hardware store. His skills expanded and someone asked him to make a kitchen of cabinetry. The rest is history.
He moved to Libby in 1996 to enjoy the beautiful Kootenai Valley, building his cabinet shop and home (and later his family). He added a molder at a later date which allowed him to custom mill products such as mouldings, trim, as well as tongue and groove. He also added a dry kiln, enabling him to dry the logs he saws himself and offering another service to his customers.
Jim is constantly upgrading methods and equipment to better his productivity as well as providing his customers with the highest quality products.
